This design was installed in a new-build property and in order to add interest and reduce the straighter lines of some kitchen designs, lots of flowing curves and soft lines were introduced. A dedicated seating and work area was created along with a separate utility room to ensure all requirements of this hard-working space were taken care of.
The notion of soft curves was considered at every stage of the build. From the oak cabinets to the flowing curves of the quartz worktops, practicality was successfully combined with beautiful aesthetics to provide the completed look.
This kitchen takes advantage of a host of useful time and labour-saving features including a boiling hot tap with blue light accent, filtered cold water tap and purpose-built warming cupboards for coats and wellies in the utility room. Beautiful blue plinth lighting and ceiling downlighters create subtle yet practical light. To complete the curved theme, the ceiling over the central island has been dropped to create a large, attractively shaped bulkhead. This houses the extractor and adds a unique, personal touch to the design. The large central island is perfect space for food preparation with an integrated sink and contrasting black hob.
