The purpose of this modern design was to create the feeling of ‘bringing the outside in’. This build took advantage of the kitchen’s position opening onto the rear garden and included a full rework to provide a utility room, pantry and boot room. Distinct areas were created to cook and dine in and an additional large, made-to-measure TV and media centre provided a highly practical relaxation space.
To achieve this stunning finish, a large rear extension was built, incorporating several sets of adjacent doors opening directly onto the garden. The feeling of extending the room further was achieved through the construction of a large decking area immediately outside, creating a seamless flow from inside to out.
Skillful planning and careful thought to practicality and smart looks result in a multi-functional workspace which caters for all occasions. Sleek, handle-less, high gloss bespoke cabinets have been constructed that contrast with traditional oak veneer cabinets on the back of the substantial island. Smart 10mm glass worktops help keep the room feeling light and airy. The central island is the kitchen’s hub and includes a sink with pop-up plugs and an integrated hob. The clean lines and minimalist feel are maintained with plenty of internal storage, integrated waste bins and discreet under-floor heating.
